Just a quick little update….Look what I woke up to this morning:
This is the Oncidium that spiked awhile back and I’ve been waiting patiently for the blooms to open. They’re finally starting to wake up! It’s moments like these that make orchid growing 110% worth it. Once all of the blooms have opened I’ll post another pic. 🙂

Lovely morning surprise … I miss those, haven’t had one in a long time! These days with a little keiki of my own I’m lucky if I get a chance to water my plants 🙂
I hear ya—I haven’t had as much time to tend to (or write about) my orchids lately! I feel like a terrible mama.

Hello Brookly Orchids, This is my first visit to your lovely blog. I recently became obsessed with orchids, and they are quickly catching up with my daylily habit. I know I’m hooked because I’ve been pouring through books, and looking up all things orchid on the Internet. Your Oncidium bloom above is just beautiful! What a nice surprise to wake up to!
